The infusion therapy department provides outpatient IV infusion therapy such as chemotherapy, IV drugs to prevent bone loss, IV drugs for rheumatoid arthritis, Chrohn's Disease, and multiple sclerosis patients, injections of Procrit, Neulasta, and Neupogen, Aranesp, and other outpatient services.
Whether needing a blood transfusion for a low blood count due to persistent anemia or chemotherapy or because of blood loss, the Infusion staff administers many blood products on a regular basis.
