Today, St. Anthony Regional Cancer Center received a donation of $3,168.21 from the Carroll Bomgaars store from proceeds raised at their Ladies Night event held last fall.
“The donation from Bomgaars will be used to purchase three patient monitoring systems that capture patient’s vitals in the medical oncology clinic,” said Lori Pietig, Director of Cancer Services at St. Anthony. “The current systems are 15 years old and get much use with our high patient volume. In 2022, St. Anthony Regional Cancer Center had 3,300 patient visits in the medical oncology clinic alone. We are thankful to our local Bomgaars for hosting this annual event.”
Ladies Night at the Carroll Bomgaars was held on October 23, 2022, and St. Anthony Regional Cancer Center was selected as the recipient for the Carroll location. The donation funds pledged back to the Cancer Center were based on 5% of the total sales of Ladies Night.
“It’s my privilege to present this donation to St. Anthony Regional Cancer Center on behalf of Bomgaars,” said Chris Beeck, Manager of Bomgaars in Carroll. “This was my first Ladies Night event as the manager of the Carroll Bomgaars, and I look forward to continuing great partnerships in the community. This is one of my favorite events because the proceeds directly impact the communities and people we serve in Carroll and surrounding communities.”
