St. Anthony Regional Cancer Center received a donation of $3,151.33 from the local Carroll Bomgaars store from proceeds raised at their Ladies Night event held last fall. Overall, 106 Bomgaars locations participated in the annual Ladies Night event raising a total of $104,581.88 to assist cancer departments.

“This donation will benefit the people we serve who face the challenges of cancer in our community, and we are thankful to our local Bomgaars for hosting this event,” said Lori Pietig, Cancer Center Director for St. Anthony. “The St. Anthony Regional Cancer Center appreciates each person that participated in Ladies Night to raise funds. Every dollar truly counts!”

Last year, Ladies Night at the Bomgaars Carroll location was held on October 24, 2021 and St. Anthony Regional Cancer Center was selected as the recipient for the Carroll location. The donation funds pledged back to the Cancer Center were based on 5% of the total sales of Ladies Night.

“The 2021 Ladies Night event was a success, and it’s my privileged to present this donation to St. Anthony Regional Cancer Center on behalf of Bomgaars,” said Mark Nepple, Manager of Bomgaars in Carroll. “Ladies Night is one of my favorite events because the proceeds directly impact the communities and people we serve in Carroll and surrounding communities.”
