For the past five years, Bomgaars has held a Ladies Night in the Fall/Winter. During this one evening, 5% of the total sales has been donated to cancer centers or hospitals in the communities served. The first year Bomgaars donated over $18,000 to 21 participating locations and last year, over $65,000 to 94 locations.
This year, the Bomgaars Ladies Night is set for October 24, 2021 from 5–8 PM and St. Anthony Regional Cancer Center will be the recipient for the Carroll location. What does this mean? The Cancer Center will be receiving a donation check from Bomgaars in December 2021 based on the total sales of Ladies Night in the local Bomgaars Store.
“As Manager at your local Bomgaars Store, I am inviting you, to come out to Bomgaars Ladies Night this Sunday night, October 24th,” said Mark Nepple of the Carroll location. “We look forward to Ladies Night every year! It is the start of Holiday shopping here at Bomgaars and what better way to celebrate then by giving the ladies a 20% discount? After a night of shopping, Bomgaars will be donating 5% of the nights’ sales back into the community. We look forward to seeing you here!”
Bomgaars endeavors to make this event special for the ladies with a discount, giveaways and refreshments.
“Each year our staff attend the Bomgaars Ladies’ Night to greet shoppers and distribute information,” said Lori Pietig, Cancer Center Director. “I want to personally invite everyone to join me in this fun event which will benefit the people of west central Iowa for years to come.”
