The Birth Place at St. Anthony Regional Hospital and Carly Quam, D.O., welcomed the 2019 New Year’s baby, Savannah Rae Rogers, at 3:10 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019. Savannah weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces and was 20 inches long. Savannah is the first child of parents Brea Jensen and Tyler Rogers of Carroll.

“The first baby of 2019 always marks the New Year in The Birth Place,” said Rebecca Richardson, OB Director. “We are thrilled for the new parents and thankful they chose to celebrate the New Year with our dedicated staff in this very special way. We wish them all the best.”2019 New Year's Baby

The Birth Place presented the family with a gift basket that included a $50 gift card, soft plush blanket, stuffed animal, digital forehead thermometer, and a variety of children’s books.

“The birth of the first baby is always a special way to ring in the New Year, so congratulations to Brea and Tyler on the birth of Savannah,” said Ed Smith, St. Anthony President and CEO. “We appreciate the trust all of our patients placed in us in 2018 and look forward to a continuing to provide high quality care and comfort in 2019!”
