Welcome to New Vice President of Patient Services

Scott Ellis, DNP, MBA, BSB, RN, has accepted the executive role of Vice President of Patient Services effective October 19, 2020.

Scott EllisAs St. Anthony Vice President of Patient Services, Ellis will work directly with nursing staff and physicians to optimize the care that each patient receives at St. Anthony.

“Mr. Ellis brings with him outstanding experience,” said Ed Smith, President and CEO. “I look forward to him joining our team to help continue to provide the outstanding care we provide for the region.”

Scott has over 21 years in the healthcare sector, most recently as Director of Patient Care at Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital in Houston, TX. He received his Master of Business Administration from Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond, OK, and DNP from Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston. In addition, he also is Nurse Executive Advanced-Board Certified (NEA-BC), Certified Executive in Nurse Practice (CENP), and Cardiovascular Registered Nurse-Board Certified (CVRN-BC) as well as numerous other certifications and affiliations.

“I am very excited to become a part of the great team at St. Anthony and to serve Carroll and the surrounding region,” said Scott. “I want to thank everyone for being so welcoming and look forward to meeting everyone.”

Scott grew up in Seminole, OK. He and his partner, Nathan Gomez are actively searching to buy a home in the area and look forward to becoming active members of the community. Ellis succeeds Karen Timm who had been with St. Anthony since May, 2010.
