St. Anthony Announces New Senior Services Administrator, Jerry Wordekemper

St. Anthony Regional Hospital is proud to announce that Jerry Wordekemper has joined their staff as Senior Services Administrator, overseeing St. Anthony Nursing Home and Garden View Assisted Living.

Jerry WordekemperMr. Wordekemper began his duties on April 7th with more than 20 years of experience in healthcare administration. He received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with Finance concentration from Wayne State University, and a master's degree in Healthcare Administration from Bellevue University. His vast experience as nursing home administrator led him to eventually become President/CEO of St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point, NE.

“It is an honor to join St. Anthony and lead the excellent staff in continuing the high standards already established for residents and tenants,” said Mr. Wordekemper. “Whether in a nursing home, an assisted living home or a hospital, I have a deep passion for providing the highest level of quality care for those we serve.”

As the Senior Services Administrator, Mr. Wordekemper will oversee operations of the 79 bed nursing home and 36 unit assisted living home. He will also work directly with physicians and staff to deliver high quality, compassionate care and maintain overall safety.

Jerry’s wife, Sara (Berger) hails from the Carroll area and is a Kuemper graduate. They have two adult children; Daniel is attending Avera McKennen School of Radiologic Technology in Sioux Falls, SD, and Joshua is in the aviation program at University of Nebraska-Omaha. The Wordekemper’s have purchased a home in Templeton and look forward to becoming active in the community. Together they enjoy golfing, biking, kayaking, fishing, flying, and spending time with family.
