Dr. Meirick is an Iowa native and enjoys participating in different sports, exploring new cities by traveling, watching movies and playing board games.

Dr. Meirick has published peer-reviewed articles in several of the most respected journals in ophthalmology, including Ophthalmology, JAMA Ophthalmology, and Ophthalmology Science. He has also presented his research at conferences around the country, including the annual meetings of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ASCRS).

  • Specializes in the treatment of ocular diseases and disorders and works with patients to determine surgical options including cataract surgery, refractive surgery, and a variety of corneal procedures including corneal transplants.
