No matter who you are, we have all been touched and our lives improved by the care of a Doctors Dayphysician. In sickness and in health, our doctors are there for us. They work long hours, late nights, and manage hectic schedules in order to help others. From the first breath to the final hours, physicians guide us through some of life’s most exciting and challenging times.

National Doctor's Day is observed annually on March 30th. On this day, and all year long I am honored to work with an elite group of primary and specialty physicians who advocate for the health of their patients here at St. Anthony. They continually strive to deliver the highest quality of care available to our friends and neighbors in west central Iowa, each and every day.

The doctors at St. Anthony Regional Hospital lead busy lives, not only at work but also with their families, schools, and volunteering. In our own busy lives, we tend to take our own good health for granted but our physicians continue to serve others. Doctors improve the health and well-being of their patients, and we are grateful for their dedication and perseverance.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of St. Anthony Regional Hospital, our employees, and volunteers, we thank and honor our physicians for their skill and commitment. Your oath to medicine and your patients makes our community a better place to live.

Sincerely,

Edward H. Smith, Jr.
President & CEO
