St. Anthony Regional Cancer Center Kicks Off Memorial Garden Brick Project

St. Anthony Regional Cancer Center Offers Memorial Garden Bricks

posted on 5/24/2022 in Press Releases

St. Anthony Regional Cancer Center invites the community including patients, families, and staff to commemorate their loved ones by purchasing a personalized memory garden brick. The memorial garden, on the south side of the cancer center, will be outlined with the bricks.

“Each donor will not only honor their loved one, but they will also strengthen our cancer center and services, and in turn, others in need,” said St. Anthony Director of Cancer Services, Lori Pietig. “By purchasing a brick, we create a link from the past to the future. The garden is a serene place for contemplation and is open to all.”

A limited number of bricks will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis for a minimum donation of $500.

The St. Anthony Regional Cancer Center serves patients from 17 different counties. In 2021, staff performed nearly 14,000 treatments during appointments. Patients have benefited from more accessibility to clinical trials and genetic testing, having a medical oncology physician four days per week, and expanded clinical support options with continued in-person support groups.
