This multi-phase project is designed to improve access, efficiency, and the overall experience for patients, visitors, and staff.

To help ensure a smooth transition during our initial phases of construction, several patient-facing changes will take effect beginning Monday, January 26, 2026.

Key Updates for Patients and Visitors

Emergency Department Access

  • Emergency Department traffic entering from Clark Street will be redirected through the lower parking area on the south side of campus, then guided up to the Emergency Department entrance.
  • Clearly marked signage will be installed along Clark Street to assist drivers and ambulances.

Admissions Area

  • A portion of the admissions waiting room, including restrooms, will be temporarily unavailable due to construction.
  • Ample seating will remain available in the admissions area and Emergency Department waiting area to accommodate patients and families.

PET/CT Services Relocation

  • PET/CT services will move to the Cancer Center.
  • Patients scheduled for PET/CT imaging should check in at the Cancer Center upon arrival.

All external vendors and community partners have been notified of these updates to ensure continuity of care and services.

We appreciate the patience and cooperation of our patients, visitors, and community as we complete this important campus-wide improvement effort. Regular updates will continue to be shared as construction progresses.
