KendrixKendrix Micha Daniel arrived on January 1, 2026, at 12:33 a.m., giving his family and care team an unforgettable way to ring in the new year.

Kendrix was born weighing 8 pounds even and measuring 19 inches long. For his parents, his arrival is especially meaningful. As baby number six, Kendrix completes their family in a way that feels both exciting and bittersweet.

“Knowing that this is more than likely our last one makes it extra special,” shared Nicole and Sam, Kendrix’s parents.

Kendrix’s name carries family significance. His middle name, Micha, honors important family ties — a nod to Dad’s twin sister, Michaela, and Mom’s father, Michael.

At home, Kendrix is already surrounded by love and a lot of energy! Kendrix has five big brothers ready to take on their new role.

When asked about hopes for Kendrix’s future, his parents smiled big. “A professional athlete!” they said, adding that above all else, they hope he lives a prosperous, fulfilling life.

As seasoned parents, they also had advice for others welcoming babies in 2026:
“It’s all about trial and error. No parent does it perfect or ‘right.’ Enjoy the moment and love the journey.”

Kendrix Micha Daniel is starting 2026 surrounded by everything that matters most.

Kendrix Micha was delivered by Dr. Bridget Shariat and Dr. Danielle Coffey. To learn more about delivering your baby at St. Anthony, click here: The Birth Place
