In October of 2016, Chaplain Peg Scheidt attempted retirement only to return to her calling here at St. Anthony in September of 2017. This November, Peg retired again and handed over the Spiritual Care reins to Chaplain Angelo Luis. Before leaving, Peg gifted Angelo with a thoughtful gift, a book by Mother Theresa titled, “A Call to Mercy” that features testimonials by people close to Mother Teresa as well as prayers, “A Call to Mercy” is a living testament to the teachings of a saint whose ideas are important, relevant, and necessary in the 21st century. Like Mother Theresa, Peg will be greatly missed in her work. Best wishes from our Administration and Staff to Peg as she enters retirement (again)!
