<p><p><u><strong>Course Description</strong></u><br /> The AHA BLS Provider Course is designed for healthcare providers and others who need to know how to perform basic life support skills in pre-hospital settings. Using high-tech mannequins and real-time mechanical feedback, this course trains participants to recognize life-threatening emergencies, use an AED, and perform high-quality CPR.</p> <p>Registration includes tuition, AHA certification and e-card.</p> <p><u><strong>Course Materials</strong></u><br /> AHA BLS Provider Textbooks to use during class are provided. If you would like to review the textbook prior to class, please contact the Education Services Office at education@stanthonyhospital.org or 712-794-5243 for a loaner textbook.</p> <p><u><strong>Faculty</strong></u><br /> AHA Certified BLS Instructor</p> <p><u><strong>Location</strong></u><br /> St. Anthony Education Center, fourth floor of the Surgery Building.<br /> Parking is available in the garage on the lower levels of the Education Center-Surgery Building.</p> <p><u><strong>Cancellation/Refund Policy</strong></u><br /> A fee of $30 will be retained for cancellations received 5 days prior to course date. No refund for cancellations received less than 5 days prior to the course date, though registration is transferrable to another person or class session.</p> <p>St. Anthony reserves the right to cancel the program due to insufficient enrollment.<br /> If this occurs, participant&rsquo;s entire registration fee will be refunded.</p></p>
