Meet the Birth Place

Take an in-person tour of The Birth Place at St. Anthony Regional Hospital

Your experienceThe Birth Place at St. Anthony Birth Place is an important and individual event for you, your baby and your family. The Birth Place nurses offer you a special invitation to "Meet the Birth Place," which is your opportunity to become familiar and comfortable with the hospital from admissions, to the Birth Place. During your scheduled visit, you will become acquainted with the staff and visit the suites where your delivery will take place. You will also be able to speak personally with a nurse, who will address your individual questions and concerns about labor and delivery. You may also pre-register your new baby-to-be! Fill out registration forms to save time later (bring insurance information).

It is recommended to schedule Meet the Birth Place in the 3rd trimester.
Dates coincide with Breastfeeding is an Art classes.

2020 Meet the Birth Place Dates: Although Birth Place classes have been temporarily suspended for COVID safety, we welcome your questions and comments either by phone or email to 712-794-5260 or education@stanthonyhospital.org. A member of the Birth Place team would be happy to discuss breastfeeding, registration, or any element of your birth experience at St. Anthony.  Please check back when visiting restrictions are lifted. Thank you for your understanding.
