Carroll County Nest welcomes all pregnant women who reside in Carroll
County. Our goal is to support and encourage expectant mothers to improve
their health and the health of their babies.

What is the Carroll County Nest?
The Carroll County Nest is an incentive program that provides
encouragement for parents. You will receive points for:

  1. Early and regular prenatal care and regulare well child visits.
  2. Participation in activities that increase healthy behaviors.
  3. Continued learning about various topics related to pregnancy, infant care, and parenting.
  4. Appropriate use of community services.

There is no cost to join this program. 

Families can remain in the program until baby turns three years of age. 

Carroll County Nest Opportunities include:

  1. Prenatal doctor visits
  2. Post partum doctor visits
  3. Childbirth education
  4. Counseling
  5. WIC
  6. Breastfeeding
  7. Infant CPR
  8. Home visits
  9. Continued education
  10. Immunizations
  11. Parenting classes
  12. Well baby visits

Items available may include:

  1. diapers
  2. educational toys
  3. safety items
  4. highchairs
  5. books
  6. Pack n’ Plays
  7. feeding supplies
