Education Services Team Certified Carroll County Ambulance Service in NRP
“The Carroll County Ambulance Service crew members were engaged and wonderful to work with,” said Christina Johnson, RN, BSN, Clinical Nurse Educator at St. Anthony Regional Hospital. “The crew proved to have the skills and knowledge required to stabilize and care for infants if a situation were to arise outside of the hospital.”
The goal of offering the neonatal resuscitation program for CCAS staff was to equip them to provide the safest and best care to newborns and infants born outside of the hospital.

Emergency Department
RN & Technician Staff: 12 full-time, 2 part-time, 2 weekend package, and 2 relief
We are challenged by flexing and bending at the drop of a hat.
We are most proud to be serving our communities needs while maintaining a high-level quality of
care.
We assist with anything and everything! For example, monoclonal antibodies, triaging a wide variety of phone calls (that are not ED related), social work, facilitating other departments during high acuity (changes in patient conditions, communicating with providers), getting medications from the pharmacy after hours, getting supplies for other departments after hours, facilitating interfacility transfers from other places, and much much more.
We pride ourselves in being jacks of all trade and masters of none………and we love margaritas J

Expanse has a PAC! Let's meet them.
The Physician Advisory Committee (PAC) was formed in November and currently meets with the Expanse Project Team every other week. The project team brings new Expanse functionality before this group and they provide feedback as well as the final review for clinical content development, which includes order sets and physician documentation. PAC members serve as Physician Super Users, subject matter experts, and the decisions they make assist us in building a better system for our clinicians and patients! Thank you PAC members for all you do!
