Using a blended learning approach of online learning, hands-on training, and high-fidelity simulation practice, TNCC is an intensive 2-day ENA certification course. The low student - instructor ratio (4:1) assures that participants will enhance their core knowledge, critical thinking and psychomotor skills in the assessment and management of injured patients using the trauma nursing process (TNP). Learn to identify common mechanisms of injury and how different types of trauma and shock affect the body. Through simulation, demonstrate how to evaluate, stabilize and resuscitate the trauma patient. Continuing Education Units offered - 17.65 contact hours over 2 days. Registration includes tuition, textbook, ENA certification card and continuing education.
