SUMMARY: Works with Hospital CEO and Foundation Director to provide leadership in coordinating communications, advertising and marketing for St. Anthony Regional Hospital and all its related entities. Timeliness and accuracy is of significant importance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Develop, coordinate and facilitate all St. Anthony communications, press releases, advertising and marketing objectives.
Understand St. Anthony’s strategic goals and objectives in order to communicate clearly with all parties.
Develop and oversee all aspects of St. Anthony’s branding and identity program.
Maintain contact information for all regional media outlets and work to develop professional working relationships with individuals who serve as main point of contact for each media outlet.
Represent St. Anthony in knowledgeable and positive manner in public showings, parades, social gatherings and community organizations.
Responsible for development, implementation and evaluation of all advertising and promotional materials through print advertising, radio, internet, intranet, website, publications, newsletters, brochures and digital media. Monitor and report on effectiveness of all such initiatives.
Develop videos, brochures and other media that describe organizational services and initiatives. Actively seek input from administration and/or department managers in the process.
Work with design agencies and assist hospital staff with new service line launches.
Provides effective communication materials to support St. Anthony administration, department directors, board members and all affiliated entities.
Assist in researching and writing grants to support organizational objectives. Be knowledgeable of
St. Anthony’s strategic plan.
Produce and distribute organizational newsletter.
Compose and/or produce letters, memos and reports as requested.
Operate office equipment, including devices, hardware and software.
Completes all other duties as assigned.
Complies with the Corporate Compliance Policy and all laws, regulations, and Standards of Conduct relating to the position and agrees to report any suspected violations of law or Standards of Conduct.
Complies with all applicable state and federal regulations.
Attends all mandatory meetings and programs.
Maintains a safe work environment using safe work practices, utilizing standard precautions and complying with hazardous waste procedures at all times as described in St. Anthony's Safety Manual.
Maintains the confidentiality of donor, patient, resident, employee and organizational information.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Marketing or related field, plus one to two years relative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, interpret and take action as it relates to hospital operations. Ability to write correspondence in a professional and understandable manner. Ability to confidently and effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to individuals inside and outside of the organization.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, REGISTRATIONS
Excellent communication and writing skills. Must be able to quickly adapt to change. Ability to use computer and knowledge of software programs. Excellent professional image.
