St. Anthony Foundation Healthcare Scholarships

St. Anthony Foundation and St. Anthony Regional Hospital are excited to announce that applications are now open for the healthcare scholarships offered through St. Anthony Foundation for spring of 2026. The Foundation endeavors to support students pursuing degrees in healthcare to support St. Anthony’s mission of providing quality, faith-based healthcare to our communities. The scholarships are funded in part through the Foundation’s investments, and also through the investments of donors and families committed to St. Anthony and the state of local healthcare.

“We are proud to support students pursuing careers in healthcare, with the hope that they will return to St. Anthony to practice and build long-term careers here,” said Sarah Foley, St. Anthony Foundation Director. “These scholarships have a profound impact, creating a legacy of care. Over the decades, we’ve seen recipients graduate, come back to work at St. Anthony, and even have their children apply for scholarships. It’s truly inspiring.”

In 2025, the St. Anthony Foundation awarded 40 scholarships to high school seniors and college students. In 2026, the Foundation anticipates being able to offer additional scholarships, thanks to the generosity of several families and donors who continue to support the Foundation’s scholarship efforts.

  • Students only need to fill out one application to be considered for any of the scholarships.
  • All scholarships are open to seniors in high school and current college students, provided they will be attending college through and into the spring semester of 2027 in a healthcare-related program, or planning to apply their education to a career in healthcare.
  • The deadline for submission is Friday, March 27, 2026.
  • A completed application must be submitted for consideration, which includes an essay and two (2) recommendation letters.

If selected, please note that in order for the awarded scholarship funds to be released the following criteria must be met:

  • Students must be enrolled full-time (minimum of 12 credit hours) in a healthcare-related college program or planning to apply their education to a career in healthcare.
