The Stork’s Nest promotes healthy mothers and babies by welcoming all pregnant Carroll County women and offering support and encouragement to improve their health and the health of their babies. By participating in educational offerings, prenatal care, and community services, mothers earn points that can be redeemed for items such as diapers, toys, or other baby supplies.

The HOPES (Healthy Opportunities for Parents to Experience Success) program offers family support services through home visits that assist with health and development, school readiness, socialization, parent-child interaction and parenting skills. Both the Stork’s Nest and HOPES are funded through Partnerships 4 Families, CEA, and have no cost to participate. Families wanting more information about the Stork’s Nest or HOPES programs are encouraged to  call 712-794-5279.
