Sharing the Cancer Journey - Confronting Cancer with a Spirit of Hope

Monday, 24 September 2012
Meetings will be held on the second Monday of each month in the St. Anthony Education Center, located on the fourth floor of the Surgery Building.

The next meeting will be held Monday, October 8, at 5:15 – 6:15 pm. The program topic, “Confronting Cancer with a Spirit of Hope,” will offer guidance for nurturing spirituality during cancer care.  Leading the discussion will be Peg Scheidt, Chaplain - St. Anthony Regional Hospital. This is a valuable session for both survivors and their caregivers.

Sponsored by St. Anthony and Alegent Cancer Care Services, this is a series of cancer information and support sessions. Monthly meetings are a place to learn about cancer and cancer treatments, to gain positive coping skills, and to exchange information and ideas with those who have had similar experiences.
Pre-registration for the upcoming session of Sharing the Cancer Journey is not required.

Those seeking additional information about the program, or to learn about other cancer resources, are invited to contact Education Services at 794-5243, or at education@stanthonyhospital.org for more information.
