Tuesday, 21 August 2012

At their annual meeting on July 17, 2012, members of the Carroll County Farm Bureau made individual contributions that totaled $435, which was matched by the county organization. Mike Sibbel, President of Carroll County Farm Bureau is shown presenting a check for $870 in honor of all area veterans to Ed Smith, St. Anthony Interim CEO and Trish Roberts, Development Director for the St. Anthony Foundation.

“We are honored by the individuals who serve on behalf of all Americans to ensure our freedom,” said Sibbel. “Many veterans live right here in Carroll County and are our friends and neighbors. Many of our members are Veterans as well. In an effort to thank them, we decided to make a donation that could be used locally through the hospital.”

“Along with the VA Clinic and area physician offices, St. Anthony is committed to provide healthcare services for 2,600 veterans who live in our region,” said Smith. “We are grateful for Carroll County Farm Bureau and organizations like them who choose to partner with us in caring for our community.”
