St. Anthony Golf Classic Raises $55,214 for Pastoral Care Services Thursday, 28 June 2012 Due to excellent weather and increased support, the 14th annual St. Anthony Golf Classic held on Monday, June 25, 2012 at the Carroll Country Club Golf Course generated a record amount for the hospital and its services, $55,214. Proceeds from this year’s Golf Classic are being designated toward the St. Anthony Pastoral Care Endowment. With this year’s proceeds, more than $615,000 has been raised through St. Anthony’s annual golf outing for hospital projects. Hole-in-one sponsors for this year’s event were Ace Hardware, Champion Ford, Drees Company, Lenz Insurance & Real Estate, Walsh Motors, Wilkie Clothiers and Wittrock Motors. Evening social and awards time was sponsored by Des Moines Orthopaedic Surgeons, JEO Consulting Group Inc., and Mid-Iowa Insurance and Real Estate. Carroll Hy-Vee provided a grand prize gift package of $500 in Hy-Vee gift cards to the team with the overall best score. Winning team was the Iowa Hospital Association.
