St. Anthony Announces Legacy Partner Recognition

St. Anthony Foundation has recently added a new recognition level for donors to St. Anthony Regional Hospital and Nursing Home.  The St. Anthony Legacy Partners is being established to recognize the people who identify their intention to support St. Anthony through a planned gift or estate provision.

“We are grateful for individuals who, through their estate planning, have decided to support St. Anthony through a planned gift.  Their planning today may actually increase the assets going to heirs and will leave a charitable legacy that will last indefinitely.” said Gary Riedmann, St. Anthony President.

Planned gifts may include bequests, life insurance policies, retirement plan assets or gifts of real estate.  They also include gifts that generate lifetime income, such as a charitable gift annuity, charitable trust or a life estate.  Gifts may be designated for unrestricted use or toward a specific program such as St. Anthony’s Hospice program, nursing home or one of many endowment opportunities.

People who make planned gifts, regardless of the method, often enjoy some or all of the following benefits:

  •      Personal satisfaction that comes from helping others.
  •      Lifetime support of specific area of interest.
  •      Opportunity to give a memorial gift to honor a friend or loved one.
  •      Generation of lifetime income.
  •      Possible estate or income tax savings.
  •      Opportunity to endow annual gift to St. Anthony.

St. Anthony Legacy Partners are recognized on a special wall located in the hospital’s atrium, directly across from the water wall.  Public recognition includes only the name of the donor(s), not the amount of the gift or the purpose of the gift. Donor names can be added to the Legacy Partners wall, at any time, following notification that St. Anthony has been included in an estate plan.
