Amber Croghan was awarded a $500 Elizabeth Riedmann Healthcare scholarship; she is a 2011 IKM-Manning High School graduate. Kelsey Zubrod was the recipient of a $500 Mary Thaler Yates Healthcare Scholarship; she is a 2009 Kuemper High School graduate and a current student at Mount Mercy University. Kelsey Lombard won a $500 Margaret Seidl Healthcare Scholarship; she is a 2011 Carroll High School graduate. Shelby Seil won a $500 Patricia Happe RN Healthcare Scholarship; she is a 2011 Southern Cal graduate. Stephanie Venner also won a $500 Patricia Happe RN Healthcare Scholarship; she is a 2011 Kuemper Catholic High School graduate. Megan Croghan of Manilla, a student at Grand View University, and Stephanie Brincks of Carroll, a student at Clarkson College, each were awarded a $500 Sheryl M. Venner Stoolman Scholarship for nursing.

“This year we had an exceptional field of 55 applicants from across the region and we are extremely pleased to award these scholarships,” said Trish Roberts, Development Director at
St. Anthony. “We are grateful for families who want to make a significant, positive difference in healthcare by developing endowed scholarship funds.” Each scholarship was established to encourage the development of healthcare professionals.

Scholarship applications are available in January of each year through area high schools, Des Moines Area Community College and online at www.stanthonyhospital.org/foundation.
