The staff at St. Anthony Mental Health knows the importance of accurate, timely diagnoses and skillful treatment. We offer a team of psychiatric professionals that includes a psychiatrist, psychiatric nurse practitioner, nurses and licensed independent social workers who provide a variety of treatment options. Both outpatient mental health services and adult inpatient care are provided.

St. Anthony’s mental health professionals provide treatment for anyone who is experiencing emotional and psychiatric difficulties, including:

Personality Disorder

Bipolar Disorder

Problems of Attention and Learning

Treatment can include a combination of individual psychotherapy, family therapy and medication therapy. Electroconvulsive therapy, ECT also available on site.

Outpatient Mental Health programs serve adults who are experiencing emotional, behavioral or learning problems that significantly interfere with their lives. Treatment includes individual, family, couple and group therapy, as well as medication monitoring.

Adult Inpatient Services are offered for those 18 years of age or older who require 24-hour supervision due to an acute psychiatric and/or emotional disorder. Medication supervision, diet monitoring and nursing care are provided under the direction of the patient’s psychiatrist, physician or advanced nurse practitioner. Treatment includes a variety of group therapies, including psychotherapy, recreational therapy, exercise and relaxation groups, education groups (communication, anger management, lifestyle, etc.) and arts and crafts groups.

The primary goal of all treatment is to help individuals learn more about themselves in order to cope more effectively on a day-to-day basis and to develop more positive behavior patterns and life skills.
