Computer Laboratory - supports self-directed learning and is available to all St. Anthony staff members. The lab is equipped with eight computer stations, along with ten laptop computers for classroom learning. Computer-assisted instruction is useful in teaching decision making; developed on a case simulation approach, it can assist the student in the steps of the nursing process.

The Healthstream Learning Center™ - provides 24/7 instant access to an internet-based learning management system designed to manage, deliver, track and report learning initiatives. Included is a library of regulatory courseware to help meet facility-wide training requirements, as well as several clinical and professional libraries. Through HealthStream, clinical staff receive online training for the devices and supplies they use every day. This engaging, convenient tool provides just-in-time medical device refresher courses.

Nursing Reference Center (NRC) - is an evidence-based reference tool. This point-of-care database provides the most recent clinical information from full-text documents and in-depth content covering conditions and diseases, patient education, drug information, lab and diagnostic detail and best practice guidelines. Online continuing education modules are also provided through the NRC.

Healthcare Professionals Clinical Simulation Center - provides a hands-on learning experience in an environment that is safe and realistic, producing opportunities to enhance critical thinking abilities, communication skills and collaborative experience. The Simulation Center allows both clinicians and students in a health profession the opportunity to be totally immersed in a patient care scenario where they can build their clinical skills.

The METI Human Patient Simulator (HPS) is a state-of-the-art, life-sized, high fidelity mannequin linked to a computer. The Patient Simulator (HPS) blinks, speaks and breathes and has light reactive/sensitive eyes, a heartbeat and pulses. The data from the patient simulator is projected in the format of a clinical monitor and includes heart rate, systolic and diastolic arterial pressures and cardiac output. Medications can 'interact' with the underlying HPS model via predefined parameters for drug action.
