Visiting Hours
St. Anthony Regional Hospital does not have set visiting hours. St. Anthony encourages family-centered healing, allowing family members to stay as long as the family and patient feel it is necessary. Visitors who are not family members are asked to keep visits short, with the patients’ need for rest and recuperation in mind. Visiting hours end at 9:00 p.m. for non-family members.

Nap time for new moms in The Birth Place is 12:00 -- 2:00 p.m.

Chapel
Two Adoration Chapels are open to visitors, hospital employees and patients 24 hours a day.  The chapels are located on second floor of the hospital, in the atrium, and on the terrace level of the Nursing Home.

Chapel visitors may use this peaceful, quiet space to pray, meditate or reflect. Spiritual guidance and support may be arranged through the hospital chaplain. Local clergy may be contacted through the hospital chaplain, social workers, or by calling the hospital operator.

Daily Newspapers
The Des Moines Register, Omaha World Herald and Carroll Times Herald may be purchased from the newspaper vending box on the 2nd floor, atrium entrance.

Flower Delivery
Local flower shops provide delivery services to the volunteer desk Monday through Friday. The deliveries are taken by volunteers directly to the patient’s room. Deliveries to patients in the critical care unit are held until the patient is transferred out of the unit.

Internet Access
The hospital provides free Internet access. Ask your nurse if you need an Internet connection for your laptop.
