For Immediate Release NEWS RELEASE St. Anthony Regional Hospital Offers Pain Clinic Services St. Anthony Regional Hospital now offers Pain Clinic Services, giving patients new options for relief of chronic pain. Injections using x-ray technology offer patients a specialized method of treatment, along with enhanced effectiveness and safety. Spinal injection techniques for low back and neck pain are available, as well as evaluations for other painful conditions, including muscle pain, shingles and nerve pain. “St. Anthony’s new pain management options give our patients alternatives to suffering from chronic pain,” said Dave Pederson, Certified Nurse Anesthetist. Pederson received additional training in pain management injection techniques and is certified as a clinical associate by the American Academy of Pain Management. Pain clinic services are available at St. Anthony every Tuesday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Physician referrals are preferred; however, for appointments or further information, call 712-792-8206. |
