May 29, 2007 NEWS RELEASE Dr. Michael Carabine Joins St. Anthony Regional Hospital St. Anthony Regional Hospital announces that Michael Carabine, M.D., a psychiatrist, has joined the medical staff at St. Anthony Behavioral Medicine Unit and Outpatient Mental Health Clinic. Most recently Dr. Carabine was employed at the Mercy Behavioral Care Unit in Sioux City, Iowa. Dr. Carabine has been a consulting psychiatrist at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll, Iowa for over three years. Dr Carabine was also a community psychiatrist and medical director for Senior Solutions, a geropsychiatric unit in Shenandoah, Iowa and practiced in Des Moines for five years as Associate Medical Director of the geropsychiatric unit at Des Moines General Hospital. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in biology and chemistry at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, Dr. Carabine was educated in internal medicine at Texas Tech University Services in Lubbock, Texas. He has completed his general psychiatry residency at Cherokee Mental Health Institute in Cherokee, Iowa, and his internal medicine internship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences. Dr Carabine and his wife Beth will be residing in Carroll, Iowa. Dr. Carabine’s employment at St. Anthony Regional Hospital begins on June 4, 2007.
